<p>Disclosed are a traffic control method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining whether a network traffic that has been used by a terminal in a time period exceeds a threshold set for the time period; and if the network traffic exceeds the threshold, restricting use of the network traffic for one or more applications in the terminal within the time period. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art that the user needs to perform manual operation to control the traffic of a terminal service application, enables the terminal to automatically control the traffic of the terminal service application, thereby improving user experience.</p> |
