<p>In order to suppress the fire of skyscrapers of 22 levels or more to which a ladder struck cannot reach, a firefighting helicopter (10) includes compressed air launchers (30) for launching a chemical grenade by air pressure, at both sides thereof; and brackets (20) for mounting the compressed air launchers (30) to the sides thereof, so that the firefighting helicopter (10) can launch chemical munitions to a fire area at a height of 50 m or 20 levels or higher from the ground. The helicopter includes a landing part (15), to which a water tank (60) is detachably connected, at a lower portion (11) thereof. The water tank has a capacity of 1000 to 8000 liters depending upon kinds of the helicopter, and is provided with a water input hole (62) in an upper portion, and installation portions (61) at left and right sides of the top surface. The water stored in the tank (60) is sprayed in a range of 50 to 70 m by a fire pump (40), and a water cannon (50) is installed at an installation portion (61) provided on the lower portion (11) of the helicopter (10). The water cannon (50) has a telescopic barrel portion (51) of which the length can be adjusted by 20 m, and a nozzle (58) provided at an end of the telescopic barrel portion (51) to spray the water at high pressure. Therefore, the firefighting helicopter (10) can suppress the fire at the height of 50 m or 20 levels or higher from the ground and at a remote distance of 70 to 90 m.</p> |
