PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for an electrochemical device, which allows the manufacture of a secondary battery excellent in cycle characteristics with little decrease in capacity due to high-speed discharge and is excellent in adhesion to a collector.SOLUTION: The electrode for an electrochemical device includes a collector and an electrode layer formed on a surface of the collector. The electrode layer contains (A1) a fluorine atom-containing polymer, (A2) a polymer containing a constituent unit derived from an aromatic vinyl monomer and a constituent unit derived from a conjugated diene monomer, and an electrode active material. The electrode active material contains lithium iron phosphate. Preferably, the polymer (A2) is obtained by polymerizing monomer components containing (a1) 20-50 pts.mass of an aromatic vinyl compound, (a2) 25-60 pts.mass of a conjugated diene compound, (a3) 5-40 pts.mass of a (meth)acrylate compound, and (a4) 0.5-6 pts.mass of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (wherein the total of the monomer components is 100 pts.mass). |
