1. A method for facilitating automatic scheduling of a meeting between a driver and a passenger for a rideshare trip, comprising the steps of:
(a) acquiring readiness information of the passenger; (b) acquiring readiness information of the driver; (c) acquiring an original vehicle location; (d) determining a meeting location corresponding to the meeting for the rideshare trip; (e) determining, using a GIS, a pre-meeting driving time corresponding to the original vehicle location and the meeting location; (f) determining a readiness time interval of the passenger corresponding to the readiness information of the passenger and a readiness time interval of the driver corresponding to the readiness information of the driver; (g) determining scheduling information corresponding to the rideshare trip wherein the step of determining scheduling information corresponding to the rideshare trip is based at least in part on a function of at least
the readiness time interval of the passenger,the readiness time interval of the driver, andthe pre-meeting driving time; wherein the method is performed on one or more computing devices. |
