[Class 42 (ii).] A needle board for needling a carded lap of cow hair, wool or jute into one or both sides of a backing of hessian or jute fabric comprises removable and replaceable brass gills 4 screwed into a grooved mahogany board 1, and each consisting of a brass bar into which tapered barbed needles 6 are driven from the underside. The felt or cloth produced may be used for under carpet felts,' bed mattress covers, radiator muffs, upholstery paddings and stair carpet treads.
