1. A method of improving electrical insulation and/or extinguishing electrical arcs in an electrical apparatus,
the method comprising providing a gas medium to an electrical apparatus in an amount sufficient to improve electrical insulation and/or extinguishing electrical arcs, wherein the gas medium comprises at least one hydrofluoroolefin with three carbon atoms and one hydrofluorocarbon, and the global warming potential (GWP) of said gas medium is less than 22520 relative to CO2 in the same pressure and temperature conditions.
