Materials functionalised with NAD+ O NADP+ and the application thereof in biosensors and other electrochemical devices. The invention relates to a functionalised material comprising a support on which an NAD/NADP/NADH or NADPH cofactor is fixed via the adenine amino group by means of a bridging group created by epoxides. Said material is used to interact with the dependent cofactor enzymes in the presence of the enzymatic substrate. As a result of the properties thereof, said material is useful as a bioelectrode for developing biosensors based on dehydrogenase enzymes and as a bioanode in biobatteries.
