<p>[Problem] To provide a method and a device for executing a combined query, and to provide a storage medium, with which a process for executing a combined query can be executed quickly. [Solution] In a combining process for a combined query, wherein an external data source connected to a data management system is searched using a table function, and the search result for that table function is combined with tables managed by the data management system, the process for combining the table function search result and tables managed by the data management system is executed by means of a first combining method; a combined query execution device uses information obtained in the process for searching the external data source by means of the table function, and/or information obtained during the combining process, to determine whether the first combining method is suitable as a combining method in the combining process; and when it is determined that the first combining method is not a suitable combining method in the combining process, the combining method in the combining process is switched from the first combining method to a second combining method which is considered to be faster than the first combining method.</p> |
