PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire reel which detects the type of a wire or a feeding amount of the wire on the basis of rotation of the wire reel.SOLUTION: The wire reel comprises a cylindrical hub part around which a wire is wound and information detection regions S1 and S2 are formed in a circumferential direction on a sidewall of the hub part. In the information detection regions S1 and S2, a plurality of translucent parts 64 are formed through which light is transmitted. The information detection regions S1 and S2 are divided into two or more information detection regions S1 and S2 and mutually different pieces of the translucent parts 64 are formed in the two or more information detection regions S1 and S2. |
