A steering device is provided with: a steering reactive force motor (18); a turning actuator enabling the turning of a wheel on a turning side; a clutch device (29) that switches connection and disconnection of a rotating force transmission route between a first rotating shaft and a second rotating shaft; and a control device (28) that implements reactive force creation control on the steering side and turning position control on the turning side. The control device (28) includes a drive unit (15) that controls current supply to the steering reactive force motor (18), and an abnormality detection unit (17) that detects abnormality in the turning actuator. When abnormality is detected in the second actuator, the drive unit (15) supplies a hold current for holding a rotation angle of the steering reactive force motor (18) to the steering reactive force motor (18) until the rotating force transmission route that has been disconnected is connected by the clutch device (29). |
