<p>The present invention relates to a hydrogen production apparatus using algae capable of economically, effectively and eco-friendly produce hydrogen which is a clean energy resource and a production method thereof. The hydrogen production apparatus comprises: a tank for containing algae and photosynthesis bacteria; a hydrogen discharging unit connected to the tank to separate and discharge hydrogen generated inside the tank; and a lamp to radiate light to the tank. The hydrogen discharging unit has a hydrogen separating unit having a pore of which the diameter is just for the hydrogen among all the gases generated in the tank. The present invention produces hydrogen using algae, so that it does not require complex processes for extracting hydrogen from fossil fuels like a conventional technology does, thereby reducing the time and costs. Also, the present invention uses carbon dioxide generated during a photo-fermentation process in the photosynthetic process, so that the byproducts generated while the hydrogen is being produced can be reduced. The present invention can provide hydrogen required to power fuel cells in an economical and eco-friendly way.</p> |
