PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce eddy current loss by effectively eliminating conduction between thin-plate-like magnetic members via burr without decreasing the cross-sectional area of a magnetic path or degrading magnetic characteristics, in the lamination iron core of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: The stator core of a rotary electric machine is composed by arranging a plurality of iron core members 12 in layers in the axial direction thereof, each iron core member 12 being formed by punching a thin-plate-like magnetic member whose both sides are covered with an insulation layer. This stator core has radially-projecting teeth parts 16 at predetermined pitches in a circumferential direction thereof. Teeth forming parts 22 of the iron core members 12, forming the teeth parts 16, do not use, as a symmetry axis a straight line passing through the rotation center D of the rotary electric machine. The teeth parts 16 of the stator core are arranged in layers so that, in one or more places in the direction of lamination, side edge parts 22a, 22b oriented in the circular direction of the teeth forming parts 22 of the stator iron core 12 are different in position. Thus, the side edge parts 22a, 22b are displaced. |
