PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of tacking in sheet alignment in which a sheet is moved by using a roller.SOLUTION: The sheet alignment device for alignment of end edges of accumulated sheets comprises: a roller for alignment disposed on a position opposing to a support face of the sheet; and a mechanism for moving the roller to a direction along the support face. The sheet alignment device sets a press area to which the roller contacts in an attention sheet so that overlapping with a non-blank area is more smaller and moves the roller so as to contact to the set press area on the basis of print position information indicating a position of the non-blank area in the attention sheet.
