Provided is a sealing agent for solar cells, which is used for a solar photovoltaic power generation system having a system voltage of 600 V or more. This sealing agent for solar cells is composed of a resin composition for thermal crosslinking, which is obtained by blending a crosslinking agent and a crosslinking assistant with an ethylene copolymer. The crosslinking assistant is composed of a combination of a polyfunctional monomer having 4 or more (meth)acryloyl groups and triallyl isocyanurate.
