FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodwork, particularly, to production of floor board mechanical locking systems. Floor board is displaced in direction of feed. First or second board edges are displaced relative to fixed surfaces for removal of chips arranged in feed direction. Said fixed surface make a part of the first or second pair of locking surfaces for horizontal locking of abutting edges and for prevention of displacement of mortise edges aside from or towards each other. In compliance with second version, floor panel is displaced in feed direction. Board first or second edge is displaced relative to cutting tool. The latter is used to cut thereat a tongue or a groove.
