PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the use efficiency of a fluid introduced into a back pressure chamber, in a pilot-operated control valve. SOLUTION: A compound valve 35 is constituted by integrating a changeover valve 31 and a check valve 32. The changeover valve 31 is a control valve employing a pilot operation system, which controls a main valve 105 to open and close it, by opening or closing a pilot valve 106 to change the pressure of a refrigerant in a back pressure chamber 152. When the refrigerant is led out from the back pressure chamber 152, a pilot valve body 170 decreases the opening of a pilot valve hole 140 that acts as a leading passage of the refrigerant from the back pressure chamber 152 and throttles the opening of a leakage passage 166 that acts as an introducing passage of the refrigerant to the back pressure chamber 152.
