A weighted exercising device comprising a weighted body that has a plurality of spatially positioned handles to allow the device to be carried and lifted. The handles may be positioned on one or more sides of the device, and allows the user to grip the device using different hand holds that changes the weight bearing load on the user, and hence the effect on different muscles groups. The body may be made from rubber, metal, plastic, foam or a combination of material, and may be reinforced; the exterior maybe rubber, plastic, foam or metal. The body is preferably elongated with a cylindrical or polygonal cross section and made in different sizes. The handles may be integral to the body by cutting away sections of the devices body to form the handle; alternatively the handles may be formed from one or more rods (fig 10) that extend through the body of the device that are interconnected (Fig 9), where the end(s) are connected to end plates which can be thickened to increase the weight of the device; the rods are accesses via access ports in the body of the device. |
