A television security mirror 100 having an integrated safe and secure storage space 202 further comprises a fingerprint sensor 312 for enabling fingerprint access protection for ensuring security of the integrated safe and secure storage space. A touchscreen surface 302 is installed over the entire television active area 304 of the television security mirror. Also included are an ultrasonic motion detection sensor 306 for detecting motion in the frontal area of the device, and a HD camera and microphone 308 for capturing or streaming images of the user for registering with the device, and for voice recognition and recording of any audio signal provided by the user. A plurality of RGB LEDs 310 are mounted on a television frame 102 and participate in an alarm system. The HD camera may further comprise an infrared module for use when visibility is reduced. The television security mirror may be activated by a facial recognition feature using the HD camera and the motion detection sensor. The device may be used as an electronic picture frame, an advertising panel, or a projector using an application such as a Web server. |
