The method involves overmolding an impermeable plastic strip (4) using a flexible plastic material in an overmolding station (16). Another impermeable plastic strip is passed in succession through a printing station in which the latter plastic strip receives a decorative ink on the bottom, and through an assembly station in which the latter strip receives electronic assemblies for processing information. The former impermeable plastic strip is joined and welded to the latter decorated impermeable plastic strip, and portable electronic devices (14) are released by cutting the joined strips. |
