PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag apparatus capable of inflating an outer bag by suppressing floating of a portion on a peripheral edge side of a storage portion in the outer bag under inflating from a peripheral edge of the storage portion. SOLUTION: An airbag 10 of the airbag apparatus M1 includes the outer bag 15 constituting an outer peripheral wall of the airbag 10 and an inner bag 20 disposed inside the outer bag 15. The inner bag 20 includes outlet ports 27 supplying inflation gas into the outer bag 15 and arm parts 23 inflatable in a tapered bag contour. The arm part 23 presses a peripheral edge separated portion 16a of the outer bag 15 separated from the storage portion 45 onto a top plane PR side of a ring part R while the inner bag 20 remains completely inflated during the operation of the airbag apparatus M1, and can maintain the pressing state.
