The invention provides a round cornering and chamfering machine of a plate-shaped workpiece, which has a compact structure and small setting space and can conduct chamfering with high efficiency. A platen (2) having a free ball bearing (4) is provided with an opening part (3) at a central part. A main shaft device (5) having a spindle head (6) is disposed at the lower part of the central part. The front end part of a main shaft (7) protruding from the opening part of the platen is provided with a workpiece guide roller (11), a chamfering cutter (10) and a workpiece bearing bench (14) having a bench base (15). A main shaft periphery part from the lower part of the platen to the upper part of the platen is provided with a workpiece conveying device (40). The workpiece conveying device (40) comprises a conveying unit (41) which is disposed at the upper part of the platen and opposite to the working bearing bench, and a pedaled conveying roller elevating mechanism (47) in a manner that the conveying unit approaches to or moves away from the workpiece bearing bench of the spindle head. |
