PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although an epoxy resin adhesive having high strength and heat resistance is used for adhesion of a motor magnet 27 of an electric power steering, there is a problem such that the adhesion strength of the adhesive to the motor magnet 27 lowers due to cure-inhibiting substances or contaminants and the adhesive is peeled from the magnet 27 to cause the steering defect and durability reduction, and it is pointed as one of causes that the cleanliness of adhesion surfaces of the magnet 27 and a motor shaft 18, particularly a cleaning liquid and cleaning control method have an affect on the durability of adhesion shear strength, and improvement of the adhesion shear strength is required. SOLUTION: The method of controlling the adhesion shear strength is characterized by cleaning the adhesion surface of the motor magnet 27 and the motor shaft 18 with the cleaning liquid having a bacteria number of≤1,000 pieces/mL at a cleaning liquid temperature of 65±5°C and the pH of≥9.
