PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite composition having a high complex permeability μ in a high frequency band (e.g., at 13.56 MHz), a magnetic member for an antenna element comprising the ferrite composition, and an antenna element having the member.SOLUTION: The ferrite composition contains a principal component consisting of 46.0-49.9 mol% (expressed in terms of FeO) of iron oxide, 2.3-16.0 mol% (expressed in terms of CuO) of copper oxide, 25.1-28.5 mol% (expressed in terms of ZnO) of zinc oxide, and the balance nickel oxide, and 2-63 ppm (expressed in terms of P) of phosphorus, 43-5,980 ppm (expressed in terms of ZrO) of zirconium oxide, and 0.4-2 wt.% (expressed in terms of CoO) of cobalt oxide as subsidiary components. In the principal component, 0.01-2.3 mol% (expressed in terms of MnO) of manganese oxide may further be contained. |
