<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the congestion which can occur when a WAN-unready device is connected to WAN. <P>SOLUTION: The switching device to be connected between a WAN-unready device and a WAN comprises: a determination part operable to determine whether or not a device which is a sender of a received packet is directly connected with the switching device; a first table on which information of each device determined to be directly connected with the switching device by the determination part is registered; a second table on which information of each connection established by the device whose information has been registered on the first table is registered; and a total controller operable to update the information of connection registered on the second table according to the content of a packet associated with the connection received by the switching device during a period of time when the connection is established, and to make a flow controller perform the flow control on the device which has established the connection based on the information of connection registered on the second table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
