PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool in which a mounting position of a switching element for a motor is changed, and its cooling method is improved. SOLUTION: The power tool includes: the motor 3; a housing 6; the switching element 7 for driving the rotation of the motor 3; and a power transmission means for driving a tip end tool by converting the rotative force of the motor. The power transmission means is accommodated in metal cases 35, 36, 41, and is arranged so that a radiator plate 7b of the switching element 7 is in contact with a part of the case 35, and the heat of the switching element 7 is dissipated through the case.
