PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding which can exhibit excellent water repellency without using an expensive resin material or needing a water repellent treatment, to provide a method for manufacturing the molding, and to provide a water-repellent article with the molding. SOLUTION: The molding 10 is composed of a resin composition and has a fine irregular structure having a plurality projections 13 formed on the surface thereof. The mean occupation ratio of a cut surface when horizontally cut at a position 10 nm from tips 13a of the projections 13 is 8.0% or less, the mean interval between adjacent projections is 400 nm or less, and the resin composition has a water contact angle of 61°or more in a smooth surface when cured.
