PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shop visitor notification system having higher face collation accuracy by acquiring many face images. SOLUTION: This shop visitor notification system collates a face image imaged with an imaging camera 1 with a database 12, and in the case of being a registered shop visitor, that is notified. The shop visitor notification system includes: an image acquiring part 2 for acquiring an imaged image of the imaging camera 1; a face detection area setting part 3 for setting one or more predetermined areas in an imaged area as a face detection area; a face detecting part 4 for detecting a face image from the face detection area; and an image acquiring speed control part 5 for increasing a speed at which the image acquiring part 2 acquires the imaged image only when the face detecting part 4 detects a face image.
