PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatography device, in which intrusion of foreign substances is prevented when a packing agent slurry is supplied to a chromatography column to form a packed layer of the packing agent, and the packing agent slurry can be smoothly introduced into the chromatograph column without using a slurry pump, and to provide a packing method of a packing agent. SOLUTION: Upon packing a packing agent, a movable plug 3 is descended to a descending limit in a chromatograph column 2 to face a bottom cap 6. Valves 9a, 20 are closed. Then a valve 24 is opened and a valve rod 17 is pushed up to elevate a valve element 16 to open a supply port 14. The movable plug 3 is elevated to suck and introduce a slurry S into the chromatograph column 2. Then the valve rod 17 is pulled down to seat the valve element 16 onto a flange 12a to close the supply port 14. A piston rod 36 of a cylinder device 4 is made to protrude to descend the movable plug 3 to pressurize the packing agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
