PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant for producing a carbonized material and a method for producing a carbonized material, by which the use amount of an auxiliary fuel is reduced.SOLUTION: The plant for producing a carbonized material includes a rotary kiln-type carbonization furnace 20 to pyrolyze a biomass to produce a carbonized material and a pyrolysis gas, a partial combustion reactor 70 to burn the pyrolysis gas under the condition of an air ratio of <1 to produce a partially burned gas, a heating jacket 22 to heat the carbonization furnace 20, a combustion furnace 30 to burn the partially burned gas under the condition of an air ratio of ≥1, and a partial combustion gas flow path 91 to connect the partial combustion reactor 70 and the combustion furnace 30 through the heating jacket 22. |
