PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal gasification furnace system that permits the control of the feed amount of fine powder coal with higher accuracy than before. SOLUTION: The coal gasification furnace system 100 includes a conveying pipe 110 for fine powder coal at least a part of which is an insulating pipe 10 constituted of an insulating material, and the insulating pipe 10 is provided with powder flow rate-measuring devices 1A-1E. The powder flow rate-measuring devices 1A-1E are equipped with a nearly cylindrical casing 20 disposed so as to cover the outer periphery of the insulating pipe 10 and with a pair of opposite electrodes 40a and 40b which are fixed to the inner side face of the casing 20 via a fixing member 30 and arranged with a predetermined gap from the peripheral surface of the insulating pipe 10 and a predetermined gap from the inner side face of the casing 20.
