A lighting control system (10) includes lighting devices (11;12;13;14) arranged along a road for a moving body. Each lighting device (11;12;13;14) includes a sensor (S1;S2;S3;S4) that detects a moving body approaching the lighting device (11;12;13;14), a light source (L1;L2;L3;L4) that emits light, a sensor (S1;S2;S3;S4) that detects the moving body, a control unit (C1 ;C2;C3;C4) connected to the sensor (S1;S2;S3;S4) and the light source (L1;L2;L3;L4), and a communication unit (A1 ;A2;A3;A4). The sensor (S1;S2;S3;S4) of the one of the lighting devices (11;12;13;14) located in at least at one outermost position of the lighting devices (11;12;13;14) has a higher detection frequency than the sensors (S1;S2;S3;S4) of the other lighting devices (11;12;13;14). |
