Hybrid vehicle and method for controlling the same

The hybrid vehicle has an engine (E) and a primary motor (M1) as drive source for running a vehicle, and a secondary motor (M2) used for any other purposes than as the drive source for running the vehicle. A changeover switch (S) controls the primary motor and secondary motor via a common inverter (I). An independent claim is also included for controlling the hybrid vehicle.
