PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone adhesive article for cosmic space, which has flexibility, adhesiveness and good tack, can be used for pasting and temporarily fixing members used in cosmic space in a spacecraft or the like, particularly can be used as an adhesive member for collecting samples from solid celestial body surfaces such as asteroids and the moon; and to provide a method for using the same. SOLUTION: The silicone adhesive article for cosmic space is obtained by curing a non-solvent addition-type silicone adhesive composition containing the following (A) to (D) components: (A) a polydiorganosiloxane containing an alkenyl group; (B) a condensation reaction product of (a) a polydiorganosiloxane having a hydroxyl group or an alkoxy group at both terminals of the molecular chain and (b) a polyorganosiloxane having an R<SP POS="POST">1</SP><SB POS="POST">3</SB>SiO<SB POS="POST">1/2</SB>unit and a SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>unit as essential units, and a HOSiO<SB POS="POST">3/2</SB>unit in the molecule; (C1) a polyorganohydrosiloxane having at least three SiH groups in one molecule thereof; (C2) a polydiorganohydrosiloxane having a SiH group at both terminals thereof; and (D) a platinum group metal-based catalyst. Use of the silicone adhesive article can provide an adhesive article capable of withstanding cosmic radiation and temperature cycle in the cosmic environment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
