PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna whose diameter is capable of being reduced and which is capable of being used at a low frequency.SOLUTION: An antenna comprises: a first general-purpose coaxial cable 7 for supplying power for signal transmission; and a leakage coaxial cable 1 which is connected to the first general-purpose coaxial cable 7 at its starting end part and has a linear central conductor extending from the starting terminal part to an end terminal part, an insulator covering the central conductor, and an external conductor which covers the central conductor so as to sandwich the insulator between th central and external conductors and on which a plurality of slots are installed at a predetermined pitch along the extension direction. The length of the leakage coaxial cable 1 in the extension direction is nλ/4, where a wavelength of the signal isλand n is any of 1, 2, and 3. |
