<p>The present invention relates to a power supply to drive multiple LED modules and an LED lighting apparatus including the same and, more specifically, to a power supply to drive multiple LED modules by using a microcontroller as a controller and controlling multiple LED module power sources with the microcontroller, and to control current flowing through the LED modules to have a value within a predetermined range, and an LED lighting apparatus including the power supply. The power supply includes: a direct current (DC) power unit composed of a rectifier circuit to convert an input alternating current (AC) voltage supplied by an AC power source into an input DC voltage; a control power unit composed of a constant voltage circuit to convert the input DC voltage into a controller voltage; a control unit driven by the controller voltage, configured to receive currents supplied by a plurality of switch units as analog input signals, to convert the currents into a high-voltage control signal and a low-voltage control signal, and to output the high-voltage control signal and the low-voltage control signal to the switch units; the switch units composed of switch circuits, which switch into an on or off state by the high-voltage control signal and the low-voltage control signal; and a plurality of LED power units composed of DC-AC voltage converters, which convert the input DC voltage into a plurality of LED module power sources based on the on or off state of the switch units. The LED lighting apparatus comprises the power supply to drive the LED modules, and the LED modules driven by the power supply, wherein the LED module includes a plurality of LEDs connected to each other in series.</p> |
