PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure capable of preventing occurrence of damage such as a crack of a steering column 2b when a steering wheel is rotated with large force while an ignition key is turned off. SOLUTION: A projection wall part 17 for surrounding all around the circumference of a locking through-hole 11a is disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the steering column 2b.
