<p>A converter 10 harvesting vehicle energy includes a road mounted device 1, an actuating device 2, a transmission device 3, and a drive device 4. The securing device 1 includes a bottom plate 12 formed with a guide groove unit 121, and a top plate 11 formed with a hole unit 111 registered with the guide groove unit 121. The actuating device 2 includes a follower unit 21 horizontally movably in the guide groove unit 121 against return springs 241 and an actuating unit 22 movably vertically in the hole unit 111 to drive the follower unit 21 which horizontally displaces the transmission device 3 via rods 311 or rods 311 and beads 312. The follower unit has ramps 211 which cooperate with projections 223 on the actuator unit. Pins 23 received in grooves112 in the top plate engaging slots engage slots 226 to vertically guide the actuators. The drive device 4 includes a swing unit 42 coupled to a rotary drive shaft 41 and driven by rods 311 to rotate the rotary drive shaft 41 in one direction. The shaft drives generators 6 via gearing 5. Ramp plates 8 assists vehicles to pass over the converter.</p> |
