The invention provides a screening device for foreign bodies, wherein transparent foreign bodies with photo polymerization property can be reliably removed. The device comprises chutes (1a, 1b), an imaging unit (3), a first light emitting unit (15), a second light emitting unit (16), a judgment unit (10) and an air nozzle (4). Tea goes from top to bottom through the chutes (1a, 1b). The first light emitting unit irradiates light to obtain the reflected light of the imaged body. The second light emitting unit irradiates light from the background of the imaged body. The judgment unit determines whether the imaged body is a foreign body or not according to the reflected light of the first light emitting unit (15) and the background light of the second light emitting unit (16) of the image obtained by the imaging unit (3). The air nozzle (4) blows off the foreign body to perform the screening operation. The screening device for foreign bodies removes the foreign bodies in tea when the tea goes through the chutes (1a, 1b). The imaging range of the imaging unit (3) and the region between the second light emitting unit (16) and the imaged body are equipped with slits (19c). |
