PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition capable of obtaining a thermosetting adhesive sheet having on a releasable film-shaped substrate an adhesive layer completely curable by heating after temporal tacking on an adherend and exerting adhesion superior in thermal cycle resistance without deteriorating initial adhesive strength, and to provide a method of manufacturing a thermosetting adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive composition comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive acrylic copolymer (ingredient (a) ) having an epoxy group in a molecule, a following epoxide (ingredient b), a bisphenol A type epoxy resin (ingredient c) having 170-2,500 g/eq epoxy equivalent and 340-5,500 number-average molecular weight and a latent epoxy curing agent (ingredient d). The ingredient (b) is a rubber elastic epoxide (b1) having 20-90% Luepke impact resilience or a mixture (b2) of the rubber elastic epoxide (b1) with a reaction product (z) comprising an epoxy compound and a rubber compound.
