PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of diversifying effective lines set in the game machine while avoiding a player being confused. SOLUTION: When a start lever 71, disposed at the nearly left center of a front door 12 in the slot machine 10, is operated, rotation of reels 42L, 42M and 42R, visible through display windows 31L, 31M and 31R, is started. Then, when stop switches 72-74 are operated, rotation of the reels 42L, 42M and 42R corresponding to the respective switches 72-74 is stopped. If symbols or a combination of symbols leading to the establishment of a winning combination are stopped on an effective line when rotation of all the reels 42L, 42M and 42R is stopped, a privilege such as putting out of tokens will be given to the player. On the other hand, if the symbols or the combination of symbols are stopped not on the effective line but on a subordinate line, the privilege such as putting out of tokens will not be given.
