PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission apparatus of a levee-shaping machine that extends a distance in the progress direction between a drive shaft arranged on a mounting frame body ahead in the progress direction and a driven shaft at the side of a machine casing body, to that extent, reduces the expansion amount of a transmission shaft, smoothly performs swing actions in the right and left directions of the transmission shaft following the movement in the right and left directions of the machine casing body, smoothly performs the right and left movement of the machine casing body, reduces the folding angle of a universal coupling, smoothly performs power transmission and improves levee-shaping workability. SOLUTION: The transmission shaft 13f of a power transmission mechanism 13 having swing action in the right and left directions B by the right and left movement of the machine casing body 4 is arranged on an interference avoidance position D to be an upper position of a levee-shaping mechanism 7.
