A method and apparatus (10;200) for generating a wave shaped pulse electronic signal (38) of a predetermined format (37) from a square pulse signal generator (12). A signal (36) is applied from the square pulse generator (12) to circuitry (10;200) having a plurality of transmission lines (14,16,18,20,22). Each transmission line (14,16,18,20,22) having a certain length creating a certain signal time delay and signal reflection for a signal (36) applied to the circuitry from the square pulse generator (12) so as to create a delay pulse from each transmission line (14,16,18,20,22). Each delay pulse is combined from each transmission line (14,16,18,20,22) to generate the wave shaped pulse electronic signal (38) of a desired predetermined format (37). |
