A water heater valve includes a valve body 1 and housing 2. The valve body 1 has inlet and outlet channels 11, 12. The outlet channel 12 is provided with an elastic seal 3 that has a control hole 324 aligned with the outlet channel 12, and a water hole 325 aligned with the inlet channel 11. The housing 2 is fitted to the valve body 1 above the elastic seal 3 and grips the periphery of the elastic seal 3. A plunger 4 carrying a closure plug 41 is movable downwards to seal the control hole 324 of the elastic seal 3 to thereby close off the outlet channel 12. |
