PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant paint which hardly causes the deterioration of a coating film due to heat and is excellent in firm contact to an object to be coated, such as a metal, even if the paint is exposed to high temperture for a long period of time; and to provide an article having a coat formed by hardening the paint concerned. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant paint includes; a polyimide resin (A) which has a biphenyl skeleton directly connecting to a 5-membered cyclic imide skeleton, the biphenyl skeleton content of the resin being 20-45 mass% and the logarithmic viscosity of the resin being 0.2-0.8 dl/g; and an epoxy resin (B).
