<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a generator capable of improving the rotation efficiency of a rotating shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The motor or the generator includes a structure, in which a bearing 11 or 12 includes an inner ring 13 integrated on the outer circumference of a rotating shaft 7, an outer ring 15, disposed on the outer circumference of the inner ring 13 via a plurality of rolling bodies 14; a ring-like holder 16 for holding the plurality of rolling bodies 14 between the inner ring 13 and the outer ring 15, lubricant oil stored in the holder 16, a first opening 18 on a load side between the inner ring 13 and the outer ring 15, and a ring-like shield 20, disposed on a second opening 19 on the side opposite to the load, wherein the shield 20 disposed on at least the first opening 18 of the load side is such that its inner circumference is fixed to the inner ring 13, its outer circumference is a free end in a noncontact state to the inner ring 15, and the free end is bent toward the side of rolling bodies 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
