PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology enabling gas to be shut off at the proper timing when water intrusion into an ultrasonic-type gas meter occurs. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic-type gas meter 10, water coming in from a gas inflow port 5a flows down to a water storage part 40 through a water introducing hole 55 when flowing down to the lower part of a columnar portion 31. Moreover, a degassing hole 57 is formed in order to make water smoothly flowed into the water storage part 40. When the water storage part 40 is fully filled with water and furthermore water is intruded thereinto, water flows over a valve seat 32 of a shut-off valve 20 and starts dropping down from a communication hole. Water droplets dropped from the communication hole are collected into a water introducing groove 66 by the concentration projection 60 for water droplets and drop on a water introducing structure 2.
