<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing a packaging container with a novel triangular cross section and a production method for said container. [Solution] A packaging container obtained by: tube-form molding by vertical sealing of a web-shaped packaging material; filling inside the tube-shaped packaging material; horizontal sealing in the transverse direction of the tube-shaped packaging material; forming of a pillow-shaped container body; cutting off of individual pillow-shaped container bodies; and forming into a final shape by folding along creases to form a top wall, a side wall, and a bottom wall and attaching formed fins and flaps to said walls. The top wall and bottom wall have a triangular and a rectangular shape, respectively; the cross-section in the transverse direction of a packaging container main body, formed by four ridgelines that connect the triangulation points of the top wall and the four corner points of the bottom wall, is trapezoidal, and one corner point of the horizontal top wall protrudes towards the front side wall.</p> |
