A process for the production of a strain link (114) for measuring stresses on a structure (140), comprising the following steps: blanking a plate (4) from a band (1) of metallic material, said plate (4) having substantially the same dimensions and the same profile as the strain link that is to be obtained, drawing said blanked plate (4) so as to obtain a plate (114) having a central area (105) that is raised with respect to two end fastening parts (111). The strain link obtained has two end fastening parts (111) with a reduced thickness and a central area (105) with a smaller width than the remaining parts of the link.
