<p>The present invention relates to a method for purifying essential oil derived from a tangerine or tangerine peel using ultrasonic waves, and use of purifying essential oil derived from a tangerine or tangerine peel purified by the same. In particular, the present invention relates to: a method for separating and purifying essential oil substances from a tangerine or tangerine peel using an ultrasonic extraction method; and a fragrance and cosmetic composition which includes the purified essential oil substances of a tangerine or tangerine peel as active ingredients, has an increased mixing ratio of natural fragrance substances, and does not contain synthetic fragrance substances. The essential oil of a tangerine or tangerine peel of the present invention is purified by ultrasonic waves and thus exists in the form of smaller and more stable particles. Therefore, the essential oil of a tangerine or tangerine peel: is rapidly diffused; has scent which lasts long; has excellent effects of promoting mental and physical stability, tranquilizing mind, and alleviating anxiety and depression; and can be advantageously used for fragrances, deodorants, and cosmetic materials.</p> |
