<p>An objective of the present invention is to provide a welding apparatus in which a remote operation apparatus using wireless communication is capable of accurately communicating with a welding power supply apparatus. A welding apparatus (A) includes a welding power supply apparatus (1), a wire feeding apparatus (2) connected with the welding power supply apparatus (1) through a power cable (41), and a remote operation apparatus (3) that performs wireless communication with the wire feeding apparatus (3). The welding power supply apparatus (1) and the wire feeding apparatus (2) communicate with each other via the power cable (41). Since the remote operation apparatus (3) is positioned close to the wire feeding apparatus (2), a partition or another welding apparatus may not exist. Accordingly, the wireless communication may not be interrupted. In addition, even if the wire feeding apparatus (2) and the welding power supply apparatus (1) are spaced apart from each other, wire communication is performed, so the communication may not be interrupted. Accordingly, as compared with the case that the remote operation apparatus (3) directly makes wireless communication with the welding power supply (1), communication faults may not occur.
